how do you get listed as relative in someone else page/?
like when it says on their page " Sharen listed Lisa as niece"
does lisa have to send a request or its just sharen's choice? or if lisa put sharen in aunt category ,then automatically sharen will receive a notification to list them as well?

If you want it to show up on the News Feed then it must be requested, other then that it will appear in black and not go on the news feed.

TO request her as your niece, go to Edit my profile then go to relationships.

You then add family member, enter the persons name and choose the relationship.

If you wanted to be related to me on facebook, you'd have to list me as something (lets say sister) once you list me as your sister, it will appear on your profile, but at the same time, a request will be sent to me to ask if i want you to be featured as my sister on my wall. If i say no, on your profile you'll still have me, but my picture won't show, and my name wont be linked to my profile.
