YES IT IS INDEED VERY GOOD.

IT HAS HD DISPLAY WITH BRAVIA ENGINE. it's the brightest display in the WORLD!! on top of that it has unique feature of TRANSPARENT ILLUMINATION BAR.

Nut, if you can forgive the style of xperia s, u can get a phone which gives more fast perfomance: HTC One X http://www.phonearena.com/phones/HTC-One-X_id6967
