I’m trying to find my birth father, but they all give me then names and then if I want more you have to pay money.

Nope, done all of them and they all want money, be careful because some will say like 2.99 for the info, but read the fine print, they will charge you monthly and you won't even notice it.

Everything Flaming Jane said.

Even Veromi.com is good- use each site to cross reference with each other. In other words, if something pops up on zabasearch or intelius - go back and run it on Pipl.com- that often gives you an age and maybe current address. Classmates is another one to look up people and if you don't have the gold membership, just ask someone who does to get more specific info - many of us have Classmates.

Also, don't forget to put names in quotes and google them. If you're looking for Joe Blow who was last known to be in Chicago you would google "Joe Blow" and Chicago

I don't think there are any that are completely 100% free, the trick is learning to use them all together getting bits of info from each one. You should also try joining some of the adoption search groups on yahoo as some of the members do have active memberships to these sites and will look things up for you.

Best of luck with your search!
