How to find a long lost relative?
I'm trying to find my brother. We have the same father but different mother. All i know about him is his name and date of birth. I think he lives in new york but not too sure if he lives in new york city. How can i find him? I tried different websites but nothing came up. ALSO, please don't say "ask your dad". I don't speak to my dad and my dad isn't in my brothers life either (trust me i know) Also, I don't know my brothers mother personally so I cant even get in contact with her.

I just recommended these sites to someone else, actually. Perhaps you'll have some luck with them:

PeopleSmart.com (for some reason, directly typing that URL in doesn't work. You'll have to search it on Google, and click the first results).

USSearch.com

Both of the above are public records sites. Free information they provide includes the person's name, age, previous addresses and possible relatives. More detailed information costs money.

WhitePages.com. This is pretty self explanatory. Online WhitePages which USUALLY (but not always) includes address and phone number.

You could also try social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace.
