How to get the word out about a missing person?
A friend of mine has a sorority sister who is missing. She was dating a guy and disappeared after ending the relationship. She was from Chicago and her car was found in Indiana.

The authorities are involved but I'm wondering if there are any other things that would help get the word out. For example, posting on Craig's List or Yelp? Something on MySpace or Facebook?

Please post any suggestions you have. You just might help save a life.

Contact local television, radio, and newspapers. Give them the details of her disappearance. Be sure to include personal information like school affiliation, family, the last time she was heard from. If you have a recent photo of her, preferably with her smiling, looking her best, someone people can relate to. Fax the photo as many places you can think of with her story.

Good luck!
