how would i contact someone living in france?

My step father moved to france a few years ago to be with his new wife. We lost contact after an unecessary argument. I would love dearly to get back in touch with him. I have no address and no idea in which area in france he happens to be!!! All I know is his name and DOB. Could someone give me an idea in where i could start?! Non sarcastic answers only please.

ask family members or his friends on whereabouts he had gone to live . if not then maybe he might just contact you firs and you could ask for an address then .?

you can look at http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/pagesblanches/ it's THE french directory. You just have to put his name and you will know were he lives (if he is not on the red list, which is very rare)

you don't have to put information in 'ou' = where

i would start with something like friends re-united or facebook.

also, look for his new wife, any children he has etc.

or ask your mum, if she's still in touch with him?

if you in contact with any of his family, they might be able to help you out...
