Disturbing dream about an estranged mother?

I had a dream last night and the thought of it is still grossing me out.

There were weird leave like things growing out of my mother's body, all over her body, colors orange, white and black, and she was totally covered in them. I think there were some words on these, like an advertisement or something. It was really gross to watch. I haven't been in touch with my mother for 2 years.

What does this mean??

This may sound odd as you’ve not been in contact with your Mother for some time now, but this dream to me seems to be saying you may need to break the ice and start over.

Let me explain-
Plants are associated with growth be it good or bad. In a positive sense we encourage people to adopt new ideas and ways of behaving. In another, more negative sense plants can symbolize either physical or mental illness which is growing within us, they have grown and grown until they’ve taken over. This could be a sign of danger; you may have sensed your mother coming down with something whether it be minor or major.

Next, the colours:
White is symbolic of cleanliness and purity. Research has shown that the colour white evokes purification of thoughts or actions and enables fresh beginnings.
The colour Orange encourages socialization and stimulation and can be known to stimulate relief in tense situations- probably as it is a mix of red which can be seen as a sign of danger and femininity, and yellow which Yellow symbolizes wisdom and stimulates efficient decision making. Effectively, orange relieves things from being too serious and provides a wider insight into ways of solving the problem.
Black is a colour which can symbolize mystery, therefore to me suggesting that subconsciously you’re curious as to how your mother has been doing over the past two years you’ve not spoken. The fact that she’s in your dream definitely suggests the curiosity.
