How do I get my facebook app to work again on my itouch?

I had downloaded the Facebook app onto my itouch awhile ago and it was working fine ! Now whenever I tap on "Notifications" the app crashes. I deleted it and tried re-downloading it but theres a screen
that says "the application is not compatible with this ipod". and
that was when i tried doing it over my itouch .
when i tried doing it over the computer, it wouldnt sync into my itouch.
i need any help possible . thanks so much .

Try deleting it then re downloading it.

First of all, it's called "iPod touch" not "iTouch"

you don't call iPod nanos "iNanos" do you?

or iPod 5th generations "i5th Generations"

Umm

well I don't use facebook, but I am familiar with the iPod touch...
I would delete the app,
restore your iPod,
try to download it again,
and if it doesn't work,
then see if there is another version you could download.
