How to enable notifications on Facebook after turning them off?

I don't mean the e-mail notifications, I'm referring to the ones like when someone comments on one of your pictures or replies to something you said and etc.. I can't figure out how after Facebook changed the site here recently. The notifications are no longer at the bottom of the screen. Help!

I had the same problem as you and just recently figured this out. When you log in go to the top left of the page where it has all the very little friend request, messages, and notification buttons. If you click on the notifications one it will open up to your most recent notifications. At that point click where it says, "See all Notifications" (at the bottom). When that next screen opens up there will be a long list of tons of your notifications. On the right hand side there will be a bunch of different things that say: "Feed Comments, Friends, Likes, Photos, Wall" and more. The little boxes to the left is where you can check and un check what specific things you would like to get notifications on.
