On Twitter, you follow people because maybe your close with them or they're cool or you like them, but you can also follow companies and they want you to do that so they are more popular and they want people to buy their stuff. Smile

it could be used as like their page on tumblr, face book, twitter Etc, its a way for companies to give updates to the masses
