Why dont people I know add me on facebook?

I sent 4 of my family members a request and they set there statuses to everyone. I see there statuses on my news feed and I cant comment on it and they know me and I am there nicese and cousin but they dont ever add me and there statuses are on mobile and I see that they become friends with alot of other people but don't ever add me its been going on for a week or so and its really annoying
I have a picture of my self and they know who I am and no I didn't tell them who I am.
I barley post any statuses or be come a fan of anything.
And they added my cousins that is my age though

did you put a picture of yourself or a picture they recognize?

and did you tell them who you are so they know?

Could be wrong person but if not.. tell them who you are and who your parents are so they know EXACTLY who you are

Maybe they don't want they're younger relatives on they're profile or sending game requests and poking them too much. My dad didn't add me for a while because he thought I'd spam on his wall, but they might add you soon, just send them a message saying that its you. They should reply with a reason why they're ot adding you or add you.
