Will somebody know if I remove and block them?

I don't want my sister on my Facebook anymore. I'm not sure if I'm being vindictive or I just realized what a crappy person she is.

Can I remove her and block her, or will she get a message?
She's said some unforgivable things today. Even if she starts "respecting" me again I'll know who's hiding under the skin.

you can block her and delete her as a friend...
but once she tries to go to your facebook, and it says "add to friends" at the top, she'll realize that you took her off your friends list.

She will not get a msg, nor will she know you removed her if you block her. Just don't check facebook in front of her, or she'll know you deleted and blocked her!
