How can i convince my parents to letting me get a facebook?

im 13 and and want a facebook, im completly responsible i get good grades. neither of my parents have a facebook. how can i get one?
i asked them a few months ago and they said no, and i don't want to go behind their back.

maybe you offer to let them monitor your facebook, and to use it only when there is a parent in the room, and not upload a picture of yourself; perhaps instead use a picture of the family pet as your profile picture. there are also ways to make it so that no one can search for you, and only your friends are allowed to see your profile picture and information; maybe if you ask your parents to make the facebook with you they will feel better knowing you have privacy controls set up. otherwise just wait..i agree that it would be a bad idea to do it behind their back
