How and Where 1can i make friends in a new city?

Ok so i am moving to the city of calgary. It is big, with a c-train all over the city and stuff. I am a 16 year old boy and want to make friends there because i dont know ANYONE.

Me my parents and my two 19 year old brothers are living in a penthouse apartment together in this city and i dont want to be bored.

I was wondering how i can meet some people and make friends so i am not completely alone this summer.

go to a club or class - sport or whatever you are interested in

you will meet like-minded people who you can hang out with.

Well you could start out on the social networking sites such as Facebook etc
Or the old fashion way go to your local youth club? or join local team footie, rugby or what ever you are into.
At the end of the day you are 16 years old and should not be worrying about meeting new people trust me it will just happen.
