Can I press charges because he posted nude pictures of me online?
My ex boyfriend posted naked pictures of me on facebook, that he had from 3 years ago. I guess he is upset with me that I met someone else and am happy. But he has had another girlfriend for those whole 3 years. I really am not one to retaliate. It's really immature. Is there anything I can do legally?

Yeah I think you can contact face book and ask them but I'm pretty sure you could sue him. I don't recommend it because we have become such a sue happy nation but do something don't just let him get away with this!

Yes only if you are under 18 years old, you can charge for having them and posting them but you would get in trouble too if you took the pictures and gave them to him

If you took the pictures and had a copyright license at the time, then yes. If you are under 18 I'm pretty sure you can aswell.

he posted it in facebook without your consent. you can report / contact facebook and have it removed, his account may as well be deleted.
Let go of hate, it’s a waste of time. Let go of anger, forgiveness heals the soul. Let go of guilt, mistakes help you grow stronger. Let go of blaming others, you are responsible for your own destiny. Let go of fantasies, so reality can come true. Let go of self pity, someone else may need you. Let go of wanting, cherish what you have. Let go of fear, it’s a waste of faith. Let go of despair, happiness is a choice. Let go of doubt, trust in God’s plan for you. Always choose to heal, not to hurt; to forgive, not to despise; to persevere, not to quit; to smile, not to frown; and to love, not to hate. At the end of life, what really matters is not what we bought but what we built; not what we got but what we shared; not our competence but our character; and not our success but our significance. Learn that when you plan to get even with someone, you only allow the person to continue to hurt you. Learn that ignoring the facts do not change the facts. Learn that the easiest way to grow as a person is to surround yourself with people smarter than you are. |
