Birthday presents what to get for my mums 50th?

Okay so it's my mums 50th and I want to get her something special from daughter to mother to thank her for all the past years, she doesn't like anything with 50 or mum on it but what do I get her? Please help

Depends on budget but most mums can't resist jewellery. Swaroski do some beautiful pieces, perfect for a special occasion. If you are on a tight budget considering making something, perhaps stitch a cushion cover with a personal msg. Or get a collection of photos made into a book. What is she into and how much do you want to spend? lol A book can be a good idea if you can think of something she's interested in and sign it at the front saying happy 50th, maybe thanking her for all the years she has looked after you in your own words. Do something special like plan a dinner night and cook a special meal, set the table and get the dvd's, cd's or party games going for 'the party guests'.

If you can get her a gift that you think will "Wow" her, she'll remember it.

If you can make the day special by making a card, a facebook page or dressing up for a birthday tea and treating her like a 'VIP', then she'll remember that too, especially if you have some good photo's or comments to go with it.
