I have had a restraining order against my child's father for over 3 years -- basically as old as my son is. His family is overall a pretty nice family. I noticed that his other child's mom is friends with all of them on Facebook. Do you think I should be friends with them as well? Idk how these things are supposed to work...I worry that the dad will look at my profile through theirs?

No need to do that. No need to make things more complicated than it is or should be. Live your life as they live theirs.
