how do i get my yahoo answers picture to be a little cartoon girl?!?

everyone on yahoo answers seems to have a cute little picture thats like a cartoon, how do i go about getting that? ohh and can i design what she looks like!? xx

you just have to create your avatar by yahoo online avatar creator, start it from your yahoo messenger.

In your case since your profile is private you must first change your profile to public or your avatar won't show. To do that:Click your avatar, click view pulse click settings top line. Under privacy click manage privacy settings uncheck hide my profile Click save. Then.
You could choose either a cartoon or a photo avatar

Cartoon, this way is fast, straight forward and easy. Go below, create your avatar and save. Then, click your current default avatar then click edit my preferences and you will see where to check use avatar.

You first need to change your profile from private to PUBLIC. Remember if your account is private...why would you have a picture? So yeah... Hope this helped.

Your avatar can be a cartoon or a photo. You can also use your Facebook or Twitter avatar.

STEP 1.
In order for your avatar to appear you must make your Yahoo Profile visable. That is done here:

Even though it is visible you still have control over what appears.

STEP 2.
To create a cartoon avatar first go to http://avatars.yahoo.com and create one.

STEP 3.
Click on the default avatar in Y!A and select "edit my preferences".

Click on "update photo or avatar" and a small window will open.
You can select the cartoon, Facebook, or Twitter avatar or upload your own photo.
After clicking "use selected photo" be sure to click "submit".
The same photo will appear in the Yahoo Profile.

You can also select the photo in the Yahoo Profile instead.
