What do I do about someone threatening others?

"Hey Chloe go smother yourself with a pillow. No crying, No whining, No fussing, make it clean. No one will care."
Exact words from a kid who apparently hates me. And he also threatened another kid, to "... rip you bone by bone with my bare hands."
This is on Facebook, but on a group message. Plus, what do I do in real life? I have classes with the kid. I mean obviously I will not go smother myself, and that guy isn't going to kill my best friend.
What do I do?

Tell him to stop being an Ass wipe and go get a life. Then if he says anything to u like go to hell, give him a nice kick in the crotch

tell someone, its important that you do, cus tbh it sounds like this kid needs someone to talk to themselves. he may be making threats to you but you never know, they may suddenly turn and attatck you, not trying to scare you but it is vital you tell someone. Tell someone you trust like your mum dad teacher brother sister or even a counciller if you want to keep it confidential x be safe! x

Ignore him! It drives all mean, threatening people crazy as heck! But if it becomes death threats, then definitely report the police.
