How not to go on the computer?
Ok, so i'm getting addicted to my computer and it's not good.

As soon as I come home from school, I spend 2 hours on facebook, yahoo answers (etc). I therefore end up going to bed 2 hours later than I should, and not doing more important things (like studying piano, french, etc).

Like today, I promised myself I would not go on the computer until all my homework was done. But here I am. How can I not go on the computer right away? How can I make myself do all my homework before going on the computer?

This is diet and fitness. NOT compulsive behaviors.

Get your parents or a brother or sister to put a password lock on either the computer or your user name and then tell them not to put the password in until you have done your homework. That way there is no way that you can go onto the computer.
But this is just about self control, its your choice, but hopefully you will learn from mistakes like this. I use to do the same thing when i was at school and then i found that i would be tired because i was doing my homework late a night at the last minute and i would get behind on my coursework.

Take your mind off the computer and focus on study and homework. You could get your mum or dad to tell you not to go on the computer until your homework is done.
You can keep away from the computer. If the computer is in your bedroom, try and stay out of your bedroom until you know you have finished your homework.

TBH, I do the same.

Try to change from and after-school computer user to a before-school computer user. Yes, it may require getting up earlier, if you want more pc time, but you have a time limit from the need to leave for school.
