If he posed for the picture for a GF or something, then I would wonder why the mom has a copy of it at all. Is it lewd, at all? If the son had the pic taken at the pool or the beach, then he clearly does not have an issue being seen in it. The mom probably wanted to show him off to potential mothers of her grandchildren. The *fix-up, settle down, and "make me some grand children" routine*. At least it wasn't his baby pictures. Nothing to be ashamed of, she's a proud mom. Same if she posted pics of her daughter, except that a daughter would be at higher risk of getting stalked by internet crazies.

What are you talking about Parrot? People publicize bikini photos all the time. I've got 4 issues of sports illustrated, chalk full of them, on my coffee table right now. A woman doesn't need permission form the cops to have a picture of her in a bikini put on the internet. She's an adult. If she objects, and only if she objects, does it become a legitimate issue.

Her intentions are probably innocent enough but it might be an embarrassment to her son. The two things that come to my mind are Oedipus complex, Hamlet and his mother. You have to be careful how you post stuff on the net because of the way other people's minds work.
