How long does it take to get over you first love?

I won't go into too many details but this guy broke my heart into a thousand pieces. All i'll say is he got a girlfriend but had no problem trying to get in my pants which hurt me terribly. I told him i couldn't be his friend anymore and he deleted me from Facebook like i was the bad person. It's been over a week and i still feel numb. I haven't contacted him at all because i know there's really no point. I did text him when he deleted me but i go no reply. I'm trying my best to move on but it's hard.

theyre really isnt a set time to just 'get over'someone, it depends how you deal with it, dont try to ignore your feelings and pretend you are okay because they will just end up building up and up and it'll get worse over time, thats what i did when my and my boyfriend split up, trust me, it isnt a good idea its taken me over a year to truly be okay with him with other girls but we never talk and i still miss him sometimes, read men are from mars and women are from venus, its a good book!

To tell you the truth you dont ever really get iver you first love, they will always be a part of you because well it was your first and everyones first is special!! However you will move on, all you need to do is go out with your friends talk to some guys and just have fun sooner or later you will find a guy who you truly deserve and wont just dump yiu for some another girl.
