If I delete my twitter will it get rid of sites that pop up when you google my name?

I don't want colleges and stuff to be able to google my name and only see twitter stuff. When I google my name I see stuff about my twitter on websites like favstar and twittercounter. If I delete my twitter account will that fix the problem? or would I have to go through those sites to get rid of stuff? Sorry for my overuse of the word "stuff."

Try deleting twitter and then come back in a week to check. Also see if you can change your privacy settings on twitter.
