How do i control the on-site notifications i get on facebook?

I am not getting any notifications if someone writes on my wall for example. I'm talking about how to control the notifications on-site (the ones you get in the bottom right corner). not e-mail notifications because all i could find in settings is e-mail control.

u can only control the ones u get on emial, u cant control the ones on the page- but no biggy, jsut learn to ignore them.....
i set my eamil to only pic comments and writngs on walls so then i knwo jsut incase i missed it on the notification bar cus it was so crammed uup with other junk

i don't think you can. Facebook notifies you automatically on your notification board. It's probably just a server bug. You should check back often to see if it works again.
