How to check in a page on facebook?

I have mobile facebook the real one is blocked and everyday I see people puting as there status:
For example:
Sam is at SAM's club with- john

and its not a status and when you go to the page Sam's club and you go to info it tells how many checks ins are on that store so far

is there a way to do this from mobile facebook or touch facebook

yeah its checking into places and i can't do it on my phone and idk why cuz i wanna do it too!! but my brother has an iphone and he can check into places, my cousin has a blackberry and she can also do it, so i guess its only certain phones that can do it :\
