Can family members ask facebook to delete a deceased relative's profile?

I've noticed a few people who have unfortunately passed away, and their profiles missing. It's sad because I like to go back and see old posts and photos of them

if a member of the family knew the person's password, then they probably have deleted it

you could always ask another family member for the photos that were on the page
as they probably have them as well, or would have saved them
