You need to find out the Hospital you were born in, that is the first step. Also, you must retain a copy of your birth certificate, it will tell you what hospital you were born in. The next step is to contact the hospital and ask them for a record of all live births on the day/year in question. But make sure you have your picture I.D.when you go to the hospital to obtain info or they will not release any information to you whatsoever. I wish I could help you myself, because I helped someone find their father after 27 years. You will have to contact CITY HALL for a birth certicicate if you don't have yours. That is the way to start this procedure,it will tell you what hospital you were born in. and then go from there. Good Luck to you and hope you find your momSmile

If you live in the US you need to go to the town where you were born and fill out the paperwork to have your adoption records opened. Make sure you state on your request form that you wish the records for medical history. If you are lucky like I was and your parents wish to be found, you'll get the records in a couple weeks. Then it's a matter of searching out your parents. (I simply called everyone in the phone book in that area with my mom's last name.) There are also many adoption registries online though I don't know how effective they are. I had no luck with them but others have had good luck. If you know your birth parent's names, try facebook. Facebook is how I found my daughter and son.
