I only friend people I know I am going to talk too, like my close friends, my girlfriend, relatives ect... I get 100's of friend request from people I barely know and never talk too.

Facebook should only be viewed as posting your events and uploading a few statuses. The real interactions should take place on the phone, or in the phone. You need to get a social life via real life experiences, and facebook should be limited.
