It's been a year and I'm not over him?
I still think about him at least once a day. It's been a year since we've spoken. It's the strongest love I've ever experienced in my life, I never really had a relationship with my parents so I never got true love from them. This guy made gave me courage and helped me love my true self.

The bad thing is he has some issues too, he doesn't come from a very stable family life, and he wasn't ready for a relationship, so he broke all contact with me. He's been single since. I honestly believe this guy is the love of my life, my soulmate. I want to help him find happiness, he's in a bad place right now and doesn't let people in..should I leave him alone or try to be there for him? I don't know what to do

If its been a year, maybe there is a reason that you still feel that way after that long. Maybe you are meant to be. If I were you, I would make let him know that you are there for him so he knows that you still care.

Yea emily is right, let him know you still care. At the end of the day, its whats worth fighting for and what makes you happy. If you think he is your soulmate, what are you waiting for? Be there for him, help him help you.

this will change your whole perspective.
go buy a few grams of good weed and some good rizlas and tabacco and a lighter and 3 litres of beer.
once you have that list, choose a good place to arrange to meet him on a saturday night, somewhere like a laid back park with a big view but not windy at all!
then surprise him with your intentions. he will be blown away most likely but insist he joins you or call him a pussy.
after a while you will be able to open up to each other and you will see things better.

(Taken from a guy who has no experience with your situation)
Well it looks like you obviously love him. You could try to slowly get back into his life. For example, if your both friends on Facebook, you could wait till he posted something, then "like it. It will show up in his notifications, and maybe, just maybe he'll think about you and the times you've had together a little more. Then you could try commenting on some of his posts every once in a while. And perhaps eventually he will respond to you and conversations could be made. Eventually, it could go one way or the other.

If I not much help, sorry. Sure I'm a guy, but Im largely a "Type B" person, where I'm overly patient an understanding. Even I don't know how different guys act in different types of neighborhoods/regions/states (although most of them seem to always mess up somehow in a relationship).

So the main thing you should probably do is to slowly make contact with him. Hope I helpedSmile
