How do you ask a girl if she wants to join your event over the phone or is text better?

I have created an facebook event to go to an Arcade Place called Round 1 and invited close friends of mines to join. One girl in particular does not have a facebook account and I want to ask if she is interested to join the event? Is it better to ask her over the phone or is text better option? I think shed appreciate a call more & probs be more enclined to be persuaded if shes doing somthing, whereas txting if someones busy can easily be ignored, or if you have somthing going on, you can be half assed, imo anyway.
