How do you feel after facebook stalking a girl or a guy?

Say you are at college or school and really like this girl or guy and when you secretly check their facebook page you discover they have a boyfriend or girlfriend.

I know I was shattered because this girl I sit next to was so friendly to me but when I saw her I am in a relationship status I started to feel ill but sort of expected it as nice girls often have boyfriends.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah there's this guy i'm sort of friends with. he's in my math class and we hang out sometimes and study together. i had a crush on him, and i thought he was flirting on me. then we became facebook friends, and it turned out he's been in a relationship for 6 months...so i guess i was wrong.

i think its a good thing though. I wouldn't want to waste time on a guy who already has a girlfriend. it would be so embarassing if i told him i liked him, and then he told me about his girlfriend!
