It's not me. I found out that a friend was sending topless photos of herself to another friend. I was wondering if it was illegal and what would happen to her if the photos got exploited all over the Internet because she only sent them via Facebook.
I'm from Australia.
She's underage and she only messaged them to the person.

It all depends which country you are in, such laws would vary drastically from UK to Afghanistan , say....

topless? IS she Cute? Depends on the situation. If she's underage NO. There might be issues if it crosses state lines as well. it's always a bad idea. on Facebook , I think it gets banned, but someone might steal it before that happens.

I think Age of consent is lower in Australia. But remember, facebook is international. I doubt that someone from teh US might try to extradite her, but its stupid no matter how you cut it.

Is the person who recieve them an adult. If he is, he's the one who would get in trouble. If he saves them on his phone, he is subject to the law of where ever he goes. Laws are not straight forward in these matters, because it's not tested in court. Australia is a lot more lenient on these matter then the Average American, but our state laws vary quite a bit. Tell you friend, that she might get her special someone in trouble for doing it. People forget that they have porn on their phone and go to the wrong places and get introuble.

sorry didn't mean to say no on the top.

No it isnt illegal just stupid. If she is a good friend of yours you might do her a favor and somehow tell her mother without her knowing it was you who told. Other than that you might try and talk to her about not sending any more. Hopefully who ever she sent them to wont go and do something stupid with them.

If it is there are about 10,000 girls who are in violation of the law. There are 1000's of girls who are making webcams of themselves at various states of disrobing and sending them all over the world. There are also several hundred girls who have set up sites for the sole purpose of guys paying to see them take their clothes off. I doubt they are violating the law but they have surely deluded themselves.
