What if you found your real dad was someone so bad you had to hide him from the public on facebook and myspace?

My real dad is not someone to be proud of but also not what people think of when they think of that crime. Also his dad was really hardcore like a mobster or something, only I have broken the cycle and turned out normal.
Examples of who I do not want to end up being and things I see in them and how there treated I do not want that for myself. My mom never told me I found out hard way by talking to his family. Ads |

don't be ashamed of what your father did, after all he's your father. but be proud of what you are, especially if you turned the cycle around.

Hello Jay ....
In spite of his background , he is your father and deserves your respect, friendship, and even your love, to some extent. He deserves a special place in your heart and thoughts. Facebook , My Space , etc. have nothing to do with this. In my opinion the less one puts into crap like Facebook , etc. ; all the better. Forget putting anything about your father in Facebook , etc. ! It is easy to fall into or get pulled in to a life of criminal activities. Life in prison is a horrible life. He has suffered a great deal for his mistakes. Nobody should condemn another until they have " walked in their shoes ". My own father , once a highly respected and brilliant attorney and quite rich, became an alcoholic. He ruined his health , his reputation, and lost all his money. He committed suicide with potassium cyanide on March 12, 1945 . He was 57 years old.I was not yet five years old. Yet, I respect him for being my father and am most proud to be his son; though he left my alcoholic mother and me in debt. I wish you the best. |
