How can I close my FaceBook account?

A few months ago my kids and grandkids talked me into getting a facebook page, and since that time I have learned more about each of them through their posts then I care to know. I just want to close it down completely.

Good luck - my IT boyfriend cancelled mine for me as it was SO damn hard! Do it - the thing is evil! Your entire personal life is open for any nut case to find out about! Go through the 'cancel' routine and stick with it - they don't WANT you to leave - but do it! Just be patient. As I said - the thing is evil - all those 'social' sites are!

Deleting a facebook account is easy... Go to account and find the 'delete account' feature. It deletes it immediately.

login in to your facebook account .. top of the facebook page you can watch "Home, Profile, Account"
Click on Account and then click Account Setting .. then you can watch all details .. and can easily Deactivate your account .

Click "Submit" and follow the instructions.

Your account will be deactivated for two weeks, and if you DO NOT USE FACEBOOK IN ANY WAY during that period, your account is permanently deleted.
