What happens to your social networling sites when you delete your email?

My sister just deleted her Yahoo email yesterday, but she has a Facebook and a Myspace, she was wondering if she'd still be able to log in, this morning she could. I know that since that stuff is linked she probably won't be able to log in later.. Am I wrong? If I'm right what can we do so she can keep her accounts?

The email is a 'Username' in the Social-Networking website database. it has no contingent properties that act injunction with yahoos database, other than the 'user name required to access their information is the same'

That being said -

as long as she doesn't lose her password she'll be fine but it would be intelligent - once she logs back into those social-networking platforms - to change her Email Address registered - so she can get updates, and recover her login information if lost.
