I doubt you will get into trouble, unless the real person sees it, then I think you would.
But it doesn't say much for your relationship if you are going to such lengths because you don't trust him, then maybe it's time to change boyfriends....:-( |

Its very unlikely you will get in trouble, I have a number of profiles and they've not picked up on it. What will you do if you catch him though? You'll have compromised your position of moral superiority by being deceitful as well, which may give him an advantage if you bring things to a head. If you don't trust him then it may be better to tell him straight or to leave him altogether.
