How to I make a program start on startup?
Hello.

I want to know how to make a program (TweetmyPC) start on startup (WITH ADMINISTRATOR PRIVLAGES) so it has to start when I boot into Windows 7 64 Ultimate.It has to have Administrator Privlages because the purpose of the program is to shut down my PC when I tweet a specified messege on Twitter.

Thanks for the replies Tongue
I already tried to copy it in the startup folder, it dosen't work Sad

To make it start on start up just copy the shortcut of the program and paste in the startup folder as shown below..

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

or try the following

1) go to start-> run
2) in the run dailog box type msconfig
3) when msconfig opens click the tab startup
4) in the startup tab you can add your program..

and remember one thing the program you want to have at startup must be a executable

means it shout be .exe, .bat, or any other executable program..
