How do I approach the guy I like on facebook?

Theirs this guy I think is cute and we used to talk on myspace and exchange e-mails but its been years since we last talked we just lost contact. The other day I found him on facebook and decided to add him, he accepted. Would it be creepy if I said something to him? or asked if he remembered me? I want him to be my boyfriend what should I do?

Send him a facebook message by saying: how are you? how have you been? I remember we used to talk ages ago and you used to be into ....(insert whatever). We use to ...(insert something)..
Mention that you hope he remembers you.

When you talk and feel comfortable with being friends you can ask him out or just ask him to catch up for coffee.

No you definantly should contact him...I am sure he is wondering the same question-especially if you hit it off in the past. Coming from a 23 yo guy, there is no right or wrong way to talk to him..just send him a message and be like.."hey, whats up?! Long time no talk..remember me?"
