Is it illegal to roam/stalk/wonder through your friends twitter pages when you don't even have a twitter?

Ok, I thought so. It's auctually quit amusing and interesting, and at the same time, you're learning and understanding more about your friends and their friends of friends and their family and so on.

To my understanding, it is legal to browse through any person's online information if they themselves have allowed it to be public.

For example, if an employer sees through a person's Facebook that they are completely not the kind of person they want to hire, it is fine. They are looking at public information, not private, so there is no invasion of privacy.
This is assuming that the person HAS allowed that info to be public. Any hacking to view private information, or information set to be unseen, is incorrect and could be serious crime.

As long as it's publicly-available information based on their own settings (and you're not hacking into accounts or something), it's not illegal.
