how do i close facebook and yahoo messenger?

i want to delete my facebook and my yahoo messenger accounts, now, how can it be done for me? I want them both shut down.

you have to "deactivate your account" for facebook just go to your "settings" which is usually at the very bottom of the page and click on deactivate.


for yahoo messenger you can just logout completey and you wont get IMs any more but if you want it gone forever you have to deactivate your email and i dont think you would want to do that!
