Want to find my adopted brother was adopted from sydney hospital round about 1964. How do i find hem?

He's birth mother name was Christine Anne Kelly, she did name him Michael Kelly but dont no if his adopted parents kept that name on his birth certificate. After Christine had her son he was taken away and she was moved to an unmarried home at Bondi Beach

Maxine, I thought the best place to start, would be the Offices of Births, Deaths and Marriages, see if he was registered in that name, and go from there.

There's also an organisation called, I think, Jigsaw, that helps families separated by adoption etc. Might be worth googling them and giving them a call.

You could do a google search for him, or even find him on facebook. Surprising, many people have found their lost relatives through such means.

If that doesn't work, contact your local Register of Birth, Deaths and Marriages. You can also contact Sydney Hospital to see if they can allow you to check such records.
