how would i find out my half brother's name if all I know is our father's name who I never met?

I recently found out that I have a half brother, but I do not know his name or his mother's name. I do not know if she was even married to my father, because he was not married to my mother. I've just been curious, because I met him when I was around three or four, but I was never told his name.

That might be a hard thing to find. You might try getting a hold of your father if possible. Otherwise you can try FaceBook, genealogy websites or some avenue like that. Just ask the same question adding as much information as you possibly can. There isn't much you have to go on right now, so you may have to ask any family member that may know who your father is and your mother may even be able to help. Explain that you are wanting to find out who your brother is and see if he wants to get to know you. Tell her that you are not doing this to hurt her in any way and that your feelings for her will never change. no matter what she says about the subject. She will understand your point of view.
