how to convince my parents for a facebook?
ok, so i'm 13, and my parents say i'm not "mature" enough for a facebook. They say i have to wait until im 16 like my sister was when she got one. So how do i convince my parents to let me have one?
p.s i have straight A's so they no i don't need one for homework. They also shut me out when i try to talk to them about it.

Tell them you need to contact your friends for homework. I had a facebook since 6th grade. Now, I use facebook to contact my friends for homework and other things about school. I hear about most of the events in my school through the president of my high school.

You should start acting more mature around them..maybe by helping out and doing what they tell you to do. And maybe after a while they'll see how more mature you are

hello, im 13 as well and this is how i got facebook. say that with facebook you can message my friends quickly and that you can chat to them for important events such as"when is the next test?" instead of messaging. but it really depends on your parents temper...if they say NO then its over...if they say "um..." then grab the chance and say PLEASE!!!
hope that helps

You can just secretly make one, or just say you need to use it to ask a friend for studying for a test or help with hw.
