How do I ask this girl to be my girlfriend?

This girl and I have been hanging out and getting to know each other for a few weeks. I recently asked her to the school dance and she said yes. I really like her a lot and Im 99.999% sure she likes me based on how she acts around me, how her & her friends react when they see me, ect. Im a very confident person, but Im not really sure how Im going to ask her to be my girlfriend or when the best time is to do it. Any advice?

I agree with everyone that said to ask her alone. Maybe during dinner or something will work. Truth is, she'll probably say yes if you walk up to her tomorrow morning stare into her eyes for a second, and just asked her. Try to hold her hand when you ask her too!

Do something really romantic..If she likes you,, she'll totally go gaga and if she doesn't, she'll start liking you..now,to be romantic,, be original and unique...at least thats what i'd like...don't go searching the net for "n romantic ways to impress her" type things..instead, think about her...and things she would like you to do..

Depends on what kind of person she is.

I'm really shy. I would have been absolutely terrified if my boyfriend had asked me out in front of anyone apart from my best friends. I really would. He's not all that confident himself, so he asked me out over facebook. I didn't mind. It's okay to ask her over facebook or msn or whatever if you like. If you think she wont mind If she's shy, don't go straight in for a kiss or anything. Asking her first would be very, VERY sweet. Holding her hand also, is much easier and very sweet.

If, however, she's confident herself, then DEFINITELY ask her out face to face She'll be like putty in your hands, I swear.

Ask her on the way to the dance? Or before you go in? Or before you leave at the end? Make sure she's really happy when you ask her. Try and make it after something really good has just happened. Back to my boyfriend again (because it's the only reference I can think of), he sent me the sweetest sweetest string of messages, and I sent an absolute essay back to him. Next morning, I woke up to find another message saying 'So, I guess this means you're all mine now then...? ' and I went dizzy. Haha Just get the timing right. The time is right when it feels right. as clique as it sounds, it's true. Give yourself a 5 second count down, and then just say it.
