How to better listen to my girlfriend?

I always have a problem remembering and doing important things my girlfriend say and asks me to do. She says it's because I'm being lazy and that I don't care, not that I have a problem. How can I increase my ability to listen and do what she asks of me? O yeah, we mostly talk on the phone because she lives 3 hours away. Thank you in advance. Happy Thanksgiving.

Why do you live 3 hours away? you meet on facebook or somthing LOL, just imagine the sex at the end of it by doing the stuff and write it down. Write it on paint and set it as ur wallpaper if u really forget.
