How do I change account pic and name on yahoo answers?

Im new and I know this sounds stupid but I dont know how to get to the edit page. Can someone tell me NOT how to change it. But how to GET there

Name and avatar are now done 2 different places.

For name click on your avatar and then "edit my preferences" and then "change name".

The avatar is a little trickier so read the following...

Your avatar can be a cartoon or a photo. You can also use your Facebook or Twitter avatar. For an animated gif you should make it your Twitter avatar first.

STEP 1.
Your profile is currently HIDDEN.
In order for your avatar to appear you must make your Yahoo Profile visible. That is done here:
http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/
There is no reason to hide your profile. Nothing appears unless you enter it and turn a switch on. The name can be anything you want.

STEP 2.
If you want to use your Facebook or Twitter avatar be sure to link the sites in the Profile options.

STEP 3.
To create a cartoon avatar first go to http://avatars.yahoo.com and create one.

STEP 4.
[This is a change. You can no longer update the avatar directly from Yahoo Answers]
Go to your Yahoo Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com
Click on your avatar.
Upload one or choose an existing one.
The same avatar is used throughout Yahoo.
