I need to write a paper on privacy?

I have to write a paper in class that has to do with privacy, but something of privacy that has a bit more detail to it something specific to say. Any ideas? please remember that at the end of the semester this is going to be a fairly long paper so the topic should be of something that i can write a good deal on with cites.

How about privacy of children using the internet - how to keep them safe without interfering with their freedom to use it. You could find out how various sites try to ensure privacy e.g. Facebook, Twitter and others like it, as well as chatlines.
