How do you update twitter from the new aim?

So today I downloaded a new version of aim that has facebook and twitter, and I can't seem to figure out how to update my statuses from it. Any help is greatly appreciated! ♥

Go to the Twitter site and under settings there's a phone and IM section where you can set it up.

It basically involves adding the Twitter AIM (or other IM account) as a "buddy".

I update mine from IM and get updates the same way all the time.
