Do you think this is a great idea to teach my brother a lesson?
My brother is stalking me. I can't do anything on facebook or msn - i can't even add girls on facebook. To teach him a lesson i thought of an idea to change my status to IN A RELATIONSHIP and he will be so curious he would want to know about my girlfriend. I don't know what going to happen in the end but i just want to get him off my back.

it doesnt really sound like a great plan to "teach him a lesson". . . stupid idea, actually.

why dont you stalk him back? let him have a taste of what he is doing to you. comment on everything he does on facebook, anyone he talks to, in the end he will grow tired of having to tellyou everything. he'll probably think it funny for a day or two but just keep at it.

Why don't you delete him as a friend on these sites and make sure that your security settings are at their highest? You can always add him as a friend again at a later point, if you want.

I'll tell you what's going to happen in the end...

Your brother will either ask you about who you're in a relationship with directly, or he'll tell on you. Either way your parents will become involved, and both of you are going to be angry with one another. Nothing will be resolved. This won't teach him a lesson, and it won't get him off your back.

I think this may only peak his interest and he will track your even more than before. Have you ever spoken to him about the fact that you would like to have more privacy on the web? Have a conversation with him and try to figure out why he is so interested and tell him you are going to use the web responsibly.
