How to convince parents for Facebook?
Well, haven't really asked them for one yet, but for some reason, I'm afraid to ask? My mom got mad at me for having a YouTube account before, I guess that's why... Anyway, all my friends have it. And yes, if I were to have one, I would put privacy settings, I don't like people I don't know to be all up in my business. Oh, by the way, both parents have facebook, including my two older brothers. Thanks in advance.

It might be age. You have to be 13 or older to have a Facebook, and if you are 14-15, I'd say your parents are still in charge. Maturity is usually the key concept here though, so simply talk to them about it. Let them know that you'll be responsible and have your privacy settings set appropriately.

Don't mention that "all your friends have one" - that's what parents DON'T like to hear. They do like to hear about the obvious things - your maturity and responsibility. Tell them you can more easily get the homework from friends if you were absent, and you can keep in touch with distant relatives.

Just make one and send them a friend request. They probably won't mind as much since they can view your page. You're stressing over nothing... =o)
